The Passive Diffusion Bailer by EON Products
The disposable EON Passive Diffusion Bailer (PDB) or Equilibrator is a cost efficient method to collect VOC samples. No purging is necessary. The PDB is filled with de-ionised water, lowered into the well to sampling depth and left for 2 weeks or until the next sampling event.
The skin of the PDB is hydrophobic, but allows VOCs to diffuse into the de-ionised water inside until equilibrium is reached, thus giving a representative sample.
